This is a pic from the bus on the way to our village.

During my volunteer visit on Savai'i, Julya and I were weeding her garden when group of her girls came up to help us. They were gnawing on some sugar cane and enlightened us to its delicious qualities as well.
This was a beautiul waterfall near Julya's house. We actually hiked down the hill and went swimming in that small pool underneath the waterfall.

On the way to Savai'i for my volunteer visit with Julya! This was our view of Savai'i as we left the warf from Upolu. The boat was pretty small and the ride was quite bumpy so to keep from sea sickness I promply passed out following these pictures. In the picture on the left from left to right is Aaron (from my group 77), Kevin (current volunteer), Derek (current volunteer), Rob/Lopi (group 77), and Todd/Koli (group 77).
